St Michael's Day
On 29th September the whole school celebrated Michaelmas (St Michael's Day) through a collaborative art project. Every child created a feather to make a massive pair of wings symbolising the Archangel, St Michael. This was a lovely way of everyone coming together to produce something special.
Here are some of us creating our fantastic feathers. Classes were able to choose their own methods of decorating the feathers and we had a wide range, from powder paint, water colours, felt-tips, colouring pencils and collage, to monochrome zentangle designs.

It didn't take long for the teachers to start getting their photos taken!
